Talking to Nanny

We read a story called 'Talking to Nanny' by Jo Carson-Barr and illustrated by Martin Simpson. It is about Aroha and her Nanny. Her Nanny lives a long way away and Aroha misses her Nanny. Her Mum helps by letting her Skype her Nanny on the computer.  We know how to Skype. We Skype our Principal and the teachers and  the kindy.

I wonder if we can Skype our grandparents.

  1. I get to skype my grandson. His name is Charlie and he lives in Whakatane. I get to visit him and have a stay over, sometimes he comes and stays at my house with his mum and dad and his baby brother. When we skype, Charlie carries around the i-pad to show me things he likes, especially his dinosaurs.
